Spray Paint & Rebuild

We use spray paint by Spray.Bike.  It’s a great and durable product.  We like it.

We stock the full catalog of colors so you can peruse them in person.  This gives you the advantage of knowing what the colors really look like.  It’s more reliable than guessing at digital images online.

We encourage you to paint your own bike.  It’s really fun to do with these paints, and there’s something gratifying in taking on a creative challenge.

But we’re also here to provide the full service as well, from stripping the bike, painting, to rebuilding it into a lovely new machine, better equipped for the next chapter of your bike life.

  • Matte Paint & Rebuild begins at $450.  Your frame will have the color or your choice in a matte “eggshell” finish, and includes a meticulous reassembly.  This is a great option for any frame material, especially for carbon fiber which cannot be powder coated.
  • Gloss Paint & Rebuild begins at $500.   Your frame will have the color or your choice in a gloss finish, and includes a meticulous reassembly.  This is a great option especially for carbon fiber, which cannot be powder coated.
  • Panels, fades, decals, and lettering are all possible.  We can discuss pricing based your vision.  Wet-paint allows us to produce multi-color paint schemes that cannot be achieved through powder-coating.
  • Powder Coat & Rebuild begins at $570.  Your frame will have the color or your choice in a matte, satin, or gloss and includes a meticulous reassembly.  This is not done in-house but outsourced to a local pro powdercoater.  This is the most durable for steel and aluminum frames and parts.  There are also thousands of color options if you want to be more exact about your vision.  The downside is you cannot do multiple colors and fades, and it cannot be applied to carbon fiber.
